Misha Mansoor, founder and lead guitarist of progressive metal band Periphery, hopped onboard with Jackson in 2015, collaboratively designing guitars to his preferred specifications. Mansoor’s attention to detail and quality expectations lead to the development and release of a handful of USA signature models with his name on them. Upwards of $3,000 each, it wasn’t easy to get a Mansoor-spec’d guitar without burning a huge hole in your wallet – until now.
For 2017, Jackson released four Misha Mansoor signature guitars for under $1,000. In fact, under $900. Even at the lower price, Misha loves the way they play and sound, so much that he played one regularly on tour. Jackson’s Pro Series now offers the HT6 and HT7FM, catering to both 6-string and extended range players – and we’ve got them all in stock.
The Juggernaut HT6 features a basswood body in a Gun Metal Gray or Satin White finish. It’s bolt-on maple speed neck and ebony fingerboard make playing easy, fast, and comfortable, and the Jackson die-cast locking tuners make going out of tune and messy string-changes a thing of the past. It’s stacked with Jackson MM1 humbuckers, and has a push/pull tone knob for easy coil splitting. All of these incredible features for just $799.99.
The Juggernaut HT7FM also features a basswood body, but with a stylish flamed maple top in Oceanburst or Charcoal Burst. The guitar also features a bolt-on maple neck and ebony fingerboard, but with a 1.75” nut width and 26.5” scale length. Jackson MM1 pickups with a push/pull Tone knob also find their home in this guitar. Jackson just made finding true artist quality at $899.99 a whole lot easier.
