Danelectro '64 Electric Bass

Good morning Riff City,

Here’s our mid-week throw back!

Danelectro are continuing to surprise with the new ’64 Bass “tribute” to the Mosrite, Mark X (Or more commonly known as the “Ventures’” model). The bass is definitely a cut above what you’d expect. Danelectro have produced tons of great guitars recently, but there’s something particularly satisfying about this model.

With a vintage style single coil in the neck and a split-able, lipstick humbucker in the bridge, there’s a lot of tone to be drawn from this bass. The controls are die-cast much like the original, with a master volume and push/pull tone for the coil split. The three-way selector switch is located on the lower horn.

Cool was never in question for this guitar, but the fact it feels so comfortable, that the quality is palpable in your hands and it really delivers such a rich, bold tone means it’s a serious contender for your “go to”!

P.S. If you’re in the market for a new “go-to”, discover for yourself why the ’64 could be it before our limited inventory runs out.
